A very short walk away from 34 Upper Fitzwilliam St is a townhouse one can visit - you go on a guided tour and learn about what life was like for the inhabitants of such houses between 1790 and 1820 (ours moved in in 1837). It's on the corner of Lower Fitzwilliam Street and Upper Mount Street:
